This project was installed on a home in southern Missouri. Weather challenges include severe seasonal storms  and high humidity.  The area also experiences powerful thunderstorms,  and the risk of tornadoes and damaging straight line winds. Large hail is also a concern during peak storm seasons. Summers are hot and humid, placing prolonged stress on exterior materials, while winters bring freezing temperatures, ice, and rapid freeze thaw cycles. The concrete log siding has performed well under these conditions.
