This project was installed on a home in central Minnesota, where extreme seasonal conditions put exterior materials to the test year after year. The area is known for long, harsh winters with heavy snowfall, prolonged subzero temperatures, and ice buildup.  Strong winter winds further increase exposure and stress. Summers bring periods of heat, high humidity, heavy rainfall, and severe thunderstorms. Through years of exposure to cold, moisture, wind, and seasonal extremes, the concrete log siding has held up well.
